Nauvoo Church of God is a house of spirit filled believers passionate about the Word of God, rightly divided. Founded in 1971 by Pastor Johnny Sims and a proud member of the Church of God Denomination, Nauvoo has been a staple in their community since its inception. Under the pastorship of Bro. Aaron Gann, and first lady Carmela Gann, their mission is to establish a steadfast church and preach the salvation message and see lives saved by the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. “This church will be a steadfast church. To be a place of Grace where love forgives, where love heals, and where love builds a community of fellowship that is impacted by the Christ of Calvary and becomes engaged together, sharing the promises of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the only way to salvation is being born again through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Jesus says in the word that, "No man cometh unto the Father but by me." Because of His death on the cross, we now have access to salvation through Jesus Christ.
